Fitness Businesses Revitalize Health and Job Market

According to multiple public surveys, young adults today are more likely than any generation before them to have a daily commitment to eating well and exercising.  Although eastern Kentucky has a poor reputation for overall wellness, several young entrepreneurs opened fitness and health related businesses in the area during 2015.  In this story, two Pike County business owners share how they came to open their fitness businesses and their passion for fitness as a means to enrich their community through providing a pathway to better health, and also creating jobs for themselves and others in an environment of job scarcity and economic uncertainty.
